Connect Your WMS, OMS or eCommerce Platform
PackVision's REST API lets you automate order uploads, retrieve pack results and integrate packing verification directly into your fulfilment workflow.
Automate your packing verification workflow
PackVision's API is designed for fulfilment teams that want to integrate packing verification into their existing systems — not add a separate manual step.
Connect your WMS or OMS to push orders to PackVision automatically when they're released to fulfilment. After packing, pull the pack results back — knowing exactly what was packed vs what was expected for every order.
Common integration patterns
Push orders on release
When your WMS releases an order to fulfilment, push it to PackVision via API. Order lines are immediately ready for validation at the pack station.
Pull pack results
After packing, query PackVision for the pack status and per-line results. Feed the data back into your WMS or reporting system.
Barcode traceability
Query any barcode to find every session it appeared in — across all workstations and dates. Useful for traceability and recall scenarios.
Key API endpoints
Core endpoints for order import, pack result retrieval and API key management.
/api/orders/importBulk import orders with lines (up to 500 per request)
/api/ordersList orders with status and pack results, filterable and paged
/api/orders/{id}Order detail with all lines, packed quantities and linked sessions
/api/orders/{id}/pack-statusPack status and per-line fulfilment for a specific order
/api/items/lookupLook up a barcode to find item master record and order validation context
/api/settings/api-keysList your API keys (prefix and metadata only — full key shown once at creation)
/api/settings/api-keysCreate a new API key
/api/settings/api-keys/{id}Revoke an API key
Authentication & security
API key authentication
All API requests use API keys passed as the X-API-Key header. Keys are company-scoped and can be created or revoked from the portal at any time.
Keys hashed at rest
Full API key values are shown only once at creation and never stored in plain text. Keys are stored as a SHA-256 hash.
Rate limiting
120 requests per minute per API key as standard. The order import endpoint is limited to 10 bulk imports per minute.
Plan-gated access
API key access is available on Standard and Pro plans. Portal-based access (browser) is available on all plans.
Standard HTTP
No proprietary SDK required. Use any HTTP client in any language — cURL, Python, Node.js, C#, PHP and others all work.
HTTPS only
All API endpoints require HTTPS. Requests over plain HTTP are rejected. JSON request and response bodies throughout.
Getting started with the API
Start a free trial
Register your company — no credit card required. API access is available immediately on Standard and Pro plans.
Create an API key
Go to Settings → API Keys in the portal. Create a key, give it a name, and copy the full key — it's shown once only.
Upload your item master
Import your items (barcode, item number, description) via CSV or API. This is used to resolve barcodes to item numbers at scan time.
Push your first order
POST to /api/orders/import with your order header and lines. The order is immediately ready for validation at the scanner.
Pull the pack results
After packing, GET /api/orders/{id}/pack-status to retrieve the pack status and per-line results for your system.
