Packing Video Evidence for eBay Sellers
eBay's Money Back Guarantee leans heavily on the buyer's account of what arrived. Record barcode-verified video of every order as it's packed, so 'item not as described' claims aren't just their word against yours.
The challenge
'Item not as described' is one of the most common - and hardest to contest - claims on eBay. Once a buyer opens a Money Back Guarantee case, eBay's process often favours the buyer by default, and sellers with no record of what was actually packed have little to push back with beyond the original listing description.
How PackVision helps
PackVision records video of every order as it's packed, linked to barcode scans of the items going in. Scan the order or item number to start the session, then each barcode scanned is logged with a timestamp in the footage. When a Money Back Guarantee case is opened, retrieve the exact video and barcode log - real evidence of the item's condition and identity at the point it was packed.
